When i was 6 (im currently 28) there was this pack of games that came with a magazine, the pack had the name of Zodiak Game Pack which included Doom, Hocus Pocus and some more old ID and apogee demo games, this mod has exactly the same sounds that version of doom included, in that time a computer that didn't have a sound blaster compatible audio chip, you could hear these sounds, so yes, your video brought me some good old memories.

While I prefer other means to make Doom T-rated (A personally modified version of No Ultraviolence that removes the monster scripting and swaps out the "missing low violence heart" sprite with a orange-ish Daggerfall unanimated bones prop, alongside Bubble Em, which covers anything non-vanilla monster-wise), I love the retro-cute aesthetic. Fix the textures looking too high def and maybe use something more akin to NES-style blips and boops for sounds and you'd have the start of a Doom clone that could feasibly exist on a Nintendo system from before Nintendo allowed controversial content on their systems!
