AH-99 Blackfoot - On Mission!

Kuvaus

In 2035, NATO received intelligence that chemical weapons were present on the island state of Altis in the Aegean. CSAT forces were already supporting the Altis Armed Forces with conventional weapons, but NATO could never allow them to provide chemical weapons to the AAF as well. This action by CSAT crossed the line.

Following a successful NATO invasion on Altis, the chemical weapons were secured, but the AAF proved to be more formidable than expected. Recently, they launched a counter-attack against NATO forces and took control of the Forward Operating Base (FOB) near Pefkas bay. The FOB contained the secured chemical weapons in a Blackfish VTOL that was ready to leave the island. NATO cannot allow the AAF to regain control of these weapons. Additionally, the AAF acquired an old Gryphon jet fighter and an armed UAV, which must be taken out. We also have information that the AAF commander is located in a FOB near Frini, and eliminating him will disrupt their communication network, making it easier to defeat the remaining AAF forces.

Your first task, Black Tiger, is to eliminate the AAF commander to prevent them from reacting to NATO's counter-offensive. Then, proceed to the northern airstrip near Abdera and take out the fighter jet, UAV, and all support vehicles. Your final objective is to destroy the Blackfish VTOL containing the chemical weapons at FOB Pefkas.

Good luck with your mission, and make sure to return safely. If you need assistance or want to improve your strategy, you can refer to Jeza's walkthrough.

theory: get with the pilot at a specific altitude, launch some DAGR launched at laser mark, change to gunner with "U" then wait for the splashes, that might work tho a co-op would be better imo

Ah okay, yeah might be tricky to figure it out alone. Maybe the walkthrough by Jeza (linked in the description) helps a bit.

by waaaaay waaay too scripted I mean that I am unable to kill anything else but the specific targets (can't kill their defences for some random reason) because the firing system is troublesome to use (missiles used by pilot, cannon and laser by AI, makes the gameplay harder for me at least)
Munin  [tekijä] 7.3.2023 klo 6.29
Of course it's scripted. Don't know what you expect when playing a scenario that literally has "On Mission" in its title.

This is not a free roam scenario where the player decides what to do.

I didn’t change anything in fashion ... I still have mods installed ...
Munin  [tekijä] 13.12.2022 klo 2.28
Probably some interference with a mod, yep.

Am I getting a mod error or am I doing something wrong ? ...when the game starts - I go to the site where the Chinook helicopter flies away and then it shows in the window the mission is completed ... I haven't got into the Comanche yet !...

I stopped playing Arma 3 and left the community in 2018. Will eventually return once they released Arma 4. But I assume you like the scenario, so thank you!
