Haha, yup, there's a ton of creative ways to flip the reflective cube. And yes, the automatic switch timing does occasionally get shortened for unknown reasons (probably a glitch in the game).

Hi. I went up to the laser the same as you did (2 portals). And the retrieving part was ovious.The problem I had yesterday, was the automatic switch timing changed to a 1/3 of it (maybe after a re-load), so the tractor beam was only on for a 1/3 of the original time, which prevented the cube to reach the fizzler. I tried again just now but could not replicate. And here's how I placed the reflec cube . You will have learn a new trick!

Hello Daloboy, have you checked my solution video for support? Being unable to retrieve your cube is a gimmick specially implanted into this level and with proper control, you should be able to get to the top of the broken tractor beam in 10 seconds.

Hi there! Had fun, except for this: in the last room, the fact that the tractor beam, once activated, switches from on to off, was annoying. So annoying, that I went up there be using the lift, and shot a portal on the laser floor, much simple. And you don't have a button to regen the cubes, so when you toss the normal cube down to the floor button, it impossible to retrive it for the exit button.
