In particular, Summit Pavillion Remix environments, and all environments after Russell's Lab have no items associated with them.
You can edit the SteamVR files in a text editor to add *any* item to your custom avatar.
Then, in Steam VR, you can remove the item from your avatar, use the clone tool, and leave one in your avatar, and have another in your environment.
The list of item IDs is in one of the other files.
This method can be used to get a working turret, and there are several items that can only be obtained this way, like the Saliens from the 2018 Summer Sale.
Does this have anything to do with SteamVR?
- Fallout 4 bobbleheads appear to unlock for every 2 hours of accumulated play time, and not 2 hours from the last unlock time
- If a weekly geocaching item is out of reach, reloading the map will place it somewhere else
