1st step : Aim & Reflex
The first thing, this thing you'll use in all FPS, Aim and Reflex.

This is one of the biggest and hardest thing you'll need to improve on because it's a big part of your in-game skill.

Best way to improve your aim and reflex on siege is Terrorist Hunt, so why Terrorist Hunt ? Because it's a fast game mode and you can play as a lone wolf, you'll improve your aim faster than in casual/ranked because everytime you'll make a mistake you can just restart again and again until you get better. In Terrorist Hunt best way to improve is playing in Hard because Realistic is too strong for training your aim but if you want you can still go for realistic but it's kinda hard (Terrorist be like wallhackers). All you have to do is playing any medium/fast operator (Maverick/Ash/Zofia are my favorites for this) and just push fast, rushing inside room with terrorists in is a great way to improve your aim+reflex.(reflex since you'll probably have to flick) Don't forget to select Terrorist Hunt Classic only in your game preferences and select only proleague pool maps. (Oregon/Border/Club House/Consulate/Coastline)

There's another great way, AimBooster : http://www.aimbooster.com/
This site is a kind of mini-game that'll help you training your reactions and accuracy depending on wish gamemode you select, this can help you even if you play another FPS.

And for the update : there's a great method i've used recently (found on SixQuatre youtube channel) :

Play the first situation in normal and just rush. Well it looks simple (and actually it is) but the challenge is to play only the pistol and do one taps (try to time yourself). First you'll do a sh#t time, like 40s but the challenge here is to restart over and over to get a better timer. (Average is 25s) First this is really good for warmup when you connect and second it's really good to train your aim when you know the position of someone (since the terrorists almost don't change their positions)
2nd step : Tactics & Game sense
Second biggest part of your in-game skills, Tactics & game sense.

Tactics : Tactics are the way you'll defend a site, wich wall you'll open, wich one you'll reinforce etc... First there's the basic tactics (the ranked tactics if you prefer) strats you probably know if you're gold/plat. Then there's the team tactics, if you're a soloQ player or LFT you wont have use to those since you need mates to create/apply them. If you don't know the basic tactics you should play more ranked or watch streams to learn them.

Game sense : this is how you'll react against ennemy strats, your teammates infos and everything like a opened wall etc... I can't exactly tell you how to react because there's too much possibilities. I've trained my gamesense by playing alot but same as tactics good way to train your gamesense is to watch good players (Stream/Youtube vids). The gamesense is the second most important of your in-game skills, if you have a great gamesense (we can even say "if you're smart") you won't even need to have a godly aim. (Hello Fabian) Gamesense is really important but there's no way i can tell you how to react in game, just be smart and think about all the issues and how the ennemy will react to what you/your mates did.
3rd step : Maps knowledges & Operators
Maps knowledges : best way to learn is playing ranked/casual over T-Hunt, of course you'll learn maps when playing T-Hunt but you'd better play ranked/casual to learn where are the bombes sites. (or the SECURE AREA CONTAINER but please stop playing this thing) Or you can also create a custom game in local to roam on the map, don't forget to put 10mins so you can have time to explore the map and try to learn most of the usefull spots. (This part is only for the beginners by the way)

Operators : Okay so now it's time to update completly this part, learn the meta The meta is your team composition in defense or in attack, if you're gold/plat you already know this so you can skip this part but for lower players here are the basic meta : You probably learned that every (most) of the attacking metas have what we call hard-breachers (thermite/hibana) and depending on the site the ennemy team will play, something to destroy the bandits/jammer (Maverick/Thatcher/Twitch, yes my dude, maverick is not used to open f#cking walls it's just here to f#ck the tricking bandito). Sometime some anti-roaming ops (Lion/Blitz/Dokka/Jackal) and depending on the site the ennemy team will play something that can be usefull for planting/killing people (Blackbeard/Glaz/Montagne/Capitao etc) If you're just playing like a ranked hero (just playing for yourself) you can play ops like Ash/Vigil (well at least ash can be usefull on some sites where vigil is only a useless roaming operator)
4th Step : Sound & Communication
Once there was a peek section here but i'm updating this to a sound section :

Sounds, one of the most usefull thing in the competitive FPS, (and for this case the sounds are amazing in Rainbow Six Siege) First don't play with music behind (or just extremly low if it helps you relaxing/focusing) and turn your volume high enough to here people aim with their weapon or turn their heads (yes you can hear that my gold friend) but don't put the volume too high because it can be dangerous for your ears (definitive/can't be healed). Take a break of at least 30mins every 3hours to let your ears rest. If you don't do that or play more than 6hours with your headset on you'll probably be "deaf" (don't know if it's the exact word) younger or need "devices" to help you hear. (since in most case we will all be deaf when we will be old so it is best to be careful)

Communication & Infos : Communication & infos are life in this game, if you know where's your enemy you have most of the chances with you. When you see someone with your drone you'd better say where he is instead of scanning him (same for cams), if you don't know the place where he is you can see the name of it on the compass if your drone or the cam is in that room (Put your game in english) If you SoloQ your mates wont talk with their mics everytime and best way to push them to do so is to do it first. Remember that prefire is life, so if you know exactly where the guy is just prefire but be carefull of not using you entire magazine before you see him. Try to learn most of the places name to be able to give your infos fast, and when you don't know exactly where is the ennemy, sometime it is best to not give inaccurate calls and just let your mates sound/use their gamesense.
Last step : Warmup
Remember that you'll always keep your skills, it's not because you go away from your computer for 1month that you'll lose all you tried to learn so far, of course you will need sometime to "recover" but you can't lose your skill. Best way to warmup is to play t-hunt or do as i said in the first section speed run in the situation 1. Try to get you hands warm, if your hands are cold you will be slower and your finger muscles will be asleep. Don't play if you're tired, you'll only lose and think you're bad and lose morals, don't forget to drink and eat before you play, it's like school you can't be concentraded if you're hungry or thirsty. I feel like a moma telling you these dumb sh#ts but it's really important. If the guide helped you or if you think this can help someone else, like or share it's really appreciated.

I've updated this guide because some guy has reminded me of the existence of this (thanks to the Cka guy)
