NOTE: You must pick an AO using ALT+Click, because there are no recognizable landmarks on the map.

oh, yea if you don't use the windows key for ACE interact that might be unsolvable lol.

Most likely, I'm pretty sure civilians only spawn in marked towns and there are none in VT5. Oh well enjoy your warcrime-free operations I guess :D

Unfortunately it's mapped to an "interact" menu using ACE, so it's basically bouncing me out of the DRO setup options. I can still see the map and the various location changes that are part of the intro, but there's no more menu. My only option at that point is to hit escape and restart the mission. If I can't change that ALT+click command, then I'll just have to deal with it.

Another thing I've noted with this map is that it doesn't seem to be spawning any civilians. Could this also be because of the landmarks issue?

what is your ALT key doing that's messing up the interface? This shouldn't be a problem.

Aw bummer. OK, will just delete my previously mapped ALT key command when choosing the AO. Then, once the game starts, I'll reprogram the ALT key command back in again. Pain in the butt, but worth it for this epic map. Thanks again!

@Kid Irie it's not a game controls thing, it's in the interface. You have to navigate to the AO location/type in the first interface, open up the map, and ALT+Click. No other keys can be substituted.

Thanks for porting the mission over Georg. Question: I've already got my ALT keys mapped out for other commands and would rather not change it. In order to choose the AO for this mission, what is the name of that ALT+left click command? If I can locate it in the game controls menu, 'd rather just remap that command instead.
