First off, What happened to my crafting?
in update 180, all blueprints except for a few, are locked and cant be crafted... yet. some of the unlocked blueprints are basic and can be crafted on the go. others you must wait at one of the new crafting stations (explained later in the guide). the research table was also nerfed and you no longer can make components from scrap. in this guide, i will clear the confusion on how this works

How to craft blueprints
like i had stated before, you must craft a research table using the correct components. in addition, you will need alot of scrap, (can be collected from barrels, crates, boxes and other lootables except for airdrops and heli crates). next you will need to find a thing to craft, (Note: previously unlocked blueprints and default blueprints do not need to be researched) from all lootables including airdrop and helicopter crates, you can find items such as ak's, 5.56 ammo, pistol ammo, guns, armor and other things you can research. (you cant research previously uncraftable weapons from airdrops and heli crates, namely the M249, The LR-300, and the M92 pistol.) Each thing you can research requires X amount of scrap needed to make a blueprint for that item and is based on the level of crafting table it requires. when you research a weapon and it has ammo in it, the ammo will appear in your inventory according to how many bullets were in the weapon. level 1 requires 75 scrap, level 2 requires 250 and level 3 requires 750.
How the new crafting tables work
according to devlog 180, there are 3 tiers of workbenches, the tier 1, the tier 2 and the tier 3. each one requires you to craft the previous leveled one before (you cant craft a level 3 workbench if you havent crafted a level 1 workbench.) if you have been following the guide, some of the locked blueprints have been unlocked and should say in either blue, green or maroon/gold the correct level of bench needed for that item to be crafted. if you wanna craft a level one item, you must be near a tier one bench; same for level 2 and level 3 items. (you will know if you have a level x building near your stats bar.) if you leave the bench and are still crafting stuff, you will de-queue that stuff and will need to craft it again.
Questions?
This is an active guide, meaning i wil answer any questions related to the guide and help people better understand how this works
