Beneath the dark depths of the sea lie horrible and violent sea creatures who struggle to survive. Kill-or-be-killed, these creatures will do whatever it takes to make it to the next day. Demonfishes are one of many sea creatures that lurk these dark depths, often traveling alone. When they see a potential prey, they lunge at it with lightning speed, impaling the creature and often times splitting it in half in the gruesome progress.

Followers of my Unturned workshop know that I have a certain style, one that is more geometric than organic. With this new skin, I wanted to try a different style; I wanted to do something resembling an organic creature, thus the Demonfish was born.

I had a tough time beginning this skin; being organic, I started working on the eyes and mouth. I went through multiple iterations for the eyes and mouth and it was a grueling process to make something that is convincing. But once I got a mouth and a set of eyes that I liked, working on the rest of the skin went relatively smooth. My main inspiration for the skin was a set of calling cards from Black Ops 3, specifically the calling cards you get for completing challenges with lethals (grenades, trip mine, and combat axe).

Overall, I loved how everything turned out, especially since this is my first "organic" skin. If I'm feeling up to it, I'll convert more weapons into nasty creatures in the near-future.
