I felt that there weren't enough combinations of skills for this game. It made me trying to create a Warfare/Pyro hybrid a real drag.

This changes that.

All 15 Warfare skills can now be combined with a Ink Pot and Quill (not consumed) with a non-Source elemental skillbook, for a brand new skill.

My goals of this project were thus:

Don't make the skill totally brand new, keep the warfare skills theme.
Don't make the skill just plain better than the warfare skill.
Don't make the skill have a physical armor requirement for it's secondary effect (no, taking 4 battering rams doesn't mean 4 knock down skills)
Let the skills scale based on weapon, allowing your cool fire warrior to use a sword if you want.
Try and keep it balanced.
Don't overwrite anything!

If you have a mod for int-based elemental weapons, that will be all you need.

I might have some other damage things going on but here was a quick comparison for [Whirlwind] tooltip damage:

Character level 19
No equipped armor, tings or necklace
No talents for damage

Physical 2H sword with no stats [112-125] damage
Warfare 10 (all other abilities 0)
Strength 40 (all other attributes10)
Whirlwind Tooltip: 420-470 damage

Fire 2H sword with +2 int +1 pyro [118 - 131] fire damage
Pyro 10 (only 9 invested to keep the same, warfare and all other abilities 0)
Intelligence 40 (only 38 points invested to keep the same, all other attributes 10)
Whirlwind tooltip damage: 443-492

Physical 2H spear 110-116
40 Finesse, 10 Warfare
Whirlwind Tooltip 413-435

Weapons skills scale entirely off weapon damage and the attribute of the weapon, no fancy mod needed to change the skills.

Hello there, any plans to just make warfare deal magic dmg or deal magic dmg with other mods which include INT based weapons? would be nice to have original warfare doing magic damage instead but with same effects

any chance of the updated version coming to steam? I want to do another planning a run with a friend and being able to include in a mod collection makes syncing mods a lot easier. As the nexus version works but sometimes throws a wrench into the mix. Would love it. Thanks anyway!

Miss this mod. But due to multiplayer connectivity issues, I refuse to use nexus for the DE version. If you ever change your mind to upload it on workshop, id love ya forever.
