BASIC TIPS
  • Use silencer. So you wont alert guards and mission will be more easy.
  • Dont use shotguns and MG. But why?Because they damn heavy and very loud. Also shotguns have very low range.
  • In planning room create small squads. In all missions you dont need too much rainbow guys.Just create 4 or even 2 people squad. In some missions you may need to create squad for sniper.
  • Dont use planning. The AI not so smart as you think. If you let them do it for themselves they can die.But if you a good at planning you can try it.
  • Use Flashbangs. They are very good for room cleaning
  • Use Heart Beat Sensor. Its very good to use it with flashbangs. So you can now how many enemies behind the door\wall(also you can track their movement)and then just throw flashbang in right direction. Its very useful.
  • Use assault rifles. Why?It have good range, good stopping power. The best assault rifles are FNC and M4.They have low recoil in automatic fire mode.
  • You can choose any uniform you want.Just remember:light uniform very good for stealth but it provides low protection.

Use semi-auto or burst fire, full-auto is really only viable in very close quarters. You only need to double-tap enemies. Most SMG's and AR's are viable but avoid machine pistols, LMG's, shotguns and sniper rifles. MP5 family, M4 & M16, G36 and AUG are my recommendations. Suppressors are a good shout. The MP5SD is fantastic as it's integrally suppressed. The AUG a great choice as it has a built-in scope, and is crazy accurate on semi-auto.

You should use smoke grenades liberally, they're ludicrously OP and they're great for creating concealment for teams moving through open ground. As much as possible have teams support each other as they move, so if one team misses a target the other will get it. There are only a few missions where a sniper team can really shine, and you have to make sure you give them the free-fire order, but they can be invaluable in large spaces for covering your people.

You shouldn't need the heartbeat sensor. Never put yourself in a position where you're exposed to more than one threat at a time. Hug the wall, lean, pie rooms. Use the scroll wheel to slow open doors, use the door as a shield. Peek the door, check, peek again. Always back up if you peek and see more than one enemy. Then use a flashbang, or a smoke. Never engage more than one enemy at a time, you will just die.

This isn't that great advice, sorry.

You should use planning. It's part of what makes Raven Shield special. Losing an operative here and there is inevitable and part of the game, and some times a team will get wiped out from just pure bad luck but. I've cleared all three campaigns using planning, it's doable, and it's very satisfying. Part of the fun of this game is going back to the drawing board, and adjusting your plan, until you hit that perfect one.

Try not to use "open, grenade and clear" on doorways that force a team to stack in front of it (narrow corridors) as this is a disaster waiting to happen. Divert and use entrances that let them stack either side, giving them cover while the grenade goes in.

bad guide. planning works. my planned ai completes the mission way better than I do, which I don't, I've never completed a mission. go squad.

planning works fine, just takes a while to set one up. Not using the planning option is ignoring half the point of the game fam.

And the MP55D5 only needs one or two bullets to be a death shot.

@Major Isoor Actually probably the best weapon for both open combat and stealth is probably the MP55D5 because you can put a scope on and POW you got a instant sniper rifle/rifle good for both close range and far AND because its already silenced it make the perfect weapon for stealth missions.
