I can confirm the stair rail exploit is fixed in this version.

Did he fixed the bug on every stairs? I mean, when you stay on the middle of the any handrail then zeds are NOT attacking you, they are runing around you and that is it - on original version.

This one has a bunch of fixes and some optimizations for better performance.
Visual and gameplay should be the same as the original.

My guess the change is the surrounding red wall - looks richer... but I haven't played this perk leveling map in a long time lol.
