[WOTC] Impact FX Lite Version

Descripción
Link to the standard Version found here: http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1148304893

This mod aims to provide increased immersion by adding and modifying the scarring to the map that occurs during engagements with Advent

This is the lite version of Impact Effects intended for weaker machines, the differences are the following

Particles are less flashy and have a timer of four minutes, as they are PhysX particles they are highly intensive due to Xcom 2 not properly supporting Nvidia effects, this is Firaxis' fault however this version should run better if you had issues with the standard version

Features~

-Disabled Impact PhysX Particles have been restored and now properly spawn

-Some Re-enabled PhysX particles have been improved upon, and more changes are soon to come

-All PhysX particles last FOUR MINUTES and there is also a global limit to prevent performance drops under severe situations

-Decals from weapon impacts have been improved upon and made persistent

-All Decals last forever however, there is a global limit to prevent performance drops

Performance Concerns~

As this mod is the lite version it will likely not be noticible under normal circumstances

Compatibility~

Uses a Screen listener, can't conflict with anything go crazy

Final Notes~

It technically doesn't need WOTC, but I have not tested it on standard Xcom 2, if you try it tell me what happens

It is completely safe to enable and disable this mod mid campaign

This mod requires the fix mod in order to do anything, so they should always be used together:

Works perfectly with the Idle Suppression ! Though I recommend this guide if you are having frame/crash problems.

Thank you!

This is a really cool mod which makes guns feel like they have more power, However I had to disable it recently because I think I found that this mod has frequent crashes with idle supression from all the particles being made everyone shooting eachother. Just want to let everyone out there know. And vortex great mod

indeeed it seems to just break the game in a bizzare lock up, I don't if it is a specific matinee but if it is I suspect it is an Advent one, as from my personal expirence it always occurs on Advent actions, however I suspect it is just the camera it self as matinees aren't played except for the activation cutscenes in missions, and a few other cases

There was none, of course.

In any case, yes, I definitely agree that the action camera's viewpoint is seemingly the trigger of whatever it is that causes the issue. It may well be just a single specific "matinee" (I think that's what they call the variations on the cinematic camera in the .ini files?) that causes all of this.

What I don't get, honestly, is it's always the burning flames sound that accompanies the white screen, and that sound has nothing to do with whether or not flames are involved in the current battle, in my experience.
