let's begin with the controls:
(standard controls only)
WASD/arrows, action, switch
WASD keys/arrows:
W/arrow UP = jump (doesn't work with all animals),
A/arrow LEFT = walking left,
S/arrow DOWN = going down (doesn't work with all animals),
D/arrow RIGHT = walking right,
action: doing the action from the animal you're at that moment:
armadillo: charge forward,
frog: shooting his tongue,
wallaby: making a ground stomp to jump higher,
panda: climbing on walls (you can squish any grounded enemies),
pelican: dashing (you can kill enemies with this)
switch: switch from animal (you can only get two at a time)

you have to reach the end of the level with only two hitpoints. when damaged, you can collect mekaballs to charge your shield (the shield will slowly degrades before fully charged).

at the overworld, you can select a cannon to blast you to a level.
normal levels have a orange color, challenge levels have a blue cannon, the podroom has a yellow teleporter and the animal customisation/quick level selector has a dark-blue colored pod.

at every world is a boss for you to defeat. each boss has an apart attack and requires another tactic to defeat. after a boss, you'll be awarded by a new animal (mostly) and a new world.
