Seeing Earth from space, is always an absolutely incredible thing regardless if it's done in a game or in real life, and it is very possible to get struck by the Overview Effect even in a game, or watching a movie. The Overview Effect is the experience of seeing Earth from space, to realize how tiny and fragile it is in this massive web of galaxies all across the universe. That this little blob in space, must be protected and not destroyed.
