Cytology Lab

描述
A semi-destructible medium-sized map taking place in one of Horzine's scandinavian bio labs. Traverse a high-tech facility and combat the zed in a variety of different locations, many of which will suffer cosmetic damage from your stray bullets and concussive explosions.

Cytology Lab is an intense and challenging map rich in visual detail and highly optimized for maximum performance (although slow-downs may be expected when using explosive weapons due to the huge number of breakable objects).

The overall map layout uses the classic 'horse shoe' design allowing you to endlessly circle the base's perimiter, while multiple connecting side areas and traversible air vents allow for shortcuts, escape routes and resource scavenging.

The end result is a map with a very kitting-friendly gameplay that retains a high skill cap which will challenge even hardened KF2 veterans to stay alive.

TWI has totally screwed up the Steam Workshop and custom content. After a year, they semi fixed a part of it so maps and stuff would download properly again. However, once you initially add things to your server............ that's it! If you try to add additionally content to your server, it will not download properly. It has been reported to TWI but this will probably take another year to fix!!

@Nomad what seems to broken mate? Might be fixable on my end, not sure. Sometimes TWI break things that cause custom maps to spazz out.

Thx Seanchaoz, your info really helps. I also contacted our Server provider to see if it could be anything on their end. I have double and triple checked on my end and everything is correct. Still no download from the Steam Workshop. Will keep my eye on it. Also, you make fantastic maps, hats off to you!

I'm running a small test server of my own and it's outputting a lot of workshop download errors for all maps, not just this one. I don't know what the problem is - I haven't touched anything - but it's clearly something on either TWI's end or Steam.

There's a KF2 beta build going on at the moment which is likely what is causing these issues. I'll keep an eye on the problem to see if it persists after the beta goes public, there's little else I can do about it at the moment.

Ok, something is broke. Tried adding a new map to #1 Server and nothing gets downloaded through WorkShop!

Just checked all our servers. None have re-downloaded the map.
