𝓦hat we're about to do here is entirely up to me, it is necessary because you'll read it hoping you could spot the obvious "le troll" while it was happening to you, this isn't a guide per say... Though I won't tell you in 10 words or less that all you need is to uninstall the game with a lowercase x and a uppercase D right next to eachother in the end of that sentence.

𝓕or what I am about to say I will use versus as an example to best describe the few actions one could take to achieve a +1 enjoyment rating in the game.

Play premade games.

𝓨ou need 3 or even up to 60 people that you know online and yourself of course to keep a steady friends base to be able to play at most hours of the day, basically people that you can have a relationship with outside the game. If you are playing a stack of 7 friends in a 8 player versus game and the random guy starts performing badly you need to forget that actions have consequences and remove that person out of the game, don't think about the emotional endeavor that player is going to face after being told or shown that he's being restricted from playing with you guys and that he needs to stay away from the computer, he should have read this guide.

Focus more on other players and less on yourself.

𝓦ith your newly gathered and reliable members of your friendslist there is much to be done, you must assemble at T (all chat) and Y (team chat), engage yourselves in conversations that cannot be replied to with logic: "you are not that good at pressing space." (space is used for jumping in l4d2). Remember that sarcasm is a more rare form of telling someone that they are good at jumping. It is not about how well you do in the game, because there is not a definitive way of telling what is the peak of performance and what is just considered great amongst your friends. To sum things up, it's about how sad you can make someone feel without actually being a part of their lives.

Sidenote: Whenever you do something you consider stupid just repeat this mantra in your head and everything should be fine "That just happened, I don't actually care, I am still better than (whomever caused this to happened)" and move on, if the person which caught you or whatever uses all chat to tell you about recent events just let him have his moment in the spotlight, he probably eats pancakes for dinner anyways.

You need to work together.

𝓔veryone likes to let loose and be a chad sometimes and that may result in your whole team being killed by the infected or the survivors having a easy time walking across the map and that is okay, Just, uuh... Leave the game and find a new one :)

There really aren't many things you can do.

𝓨ou could browse memes or even listen to music while you play, it makes the experience more docile, I know I am fan of that at least. Talking to people in discord about unrelated things could be the key to forgetting the seriousness of the game for a while too instead of letting your family members in the next room over know that you are quite fond of screaming at a piece of electrical circuits.

Pride will take you nowhere.

𝓘 am not talking about when a man is interested in another man sexually, pride will be the first step you could take to move in the wrong direction, feelings of regret made by mistakes in the past will not make you a stronger and more robust teammate, it will only be the decay of your person being slowly torn to shreds until your 3 to 6 stack of friends will look at you in a different light. But what do I know!

Now to list some complementary suggestions.

1. Dude just stand still and kill infected players or bunnyhop lol.
2. Kill the hunter in the air. It is pointless but it gets our ♥♥♥♥♥ and veganas hard so might as well.
3. Single jab the charger with melee while it is running in a straight line.
4. Cut the smoker tounge with a sharp weppon, though very primitive, people still think this is cool.
5. Stop a running charger with throwables or canisters (possible).
6. Kill a witch by only using pipebombs (plausible).
7. Tell people you aren't ready but just run ahead anyways.
8. Initiate a votekick on someone when it is clear that someone from your team wants to kick you and manage to kick them instead.
9. Kill a canister or gascan while it is thrown in the air.
10. Use a canister or gascan to move physical objects in the game like containers that the tank can hit, just spam e on it.
11. Parkour your way up to places not thought possible.
12. Kill yourself.
13. Tell someone that they are awesome if they actually beat you.
14. Tell someone that they are awesome, add them, befriend them over a shorter period of time, let him meet some people you know and then block him forever.

𝓙ust be oblivious, I mean, being happy isn't something you truly are behind a screen, you are happy when you are together with loved ones, maybe the light at the end of the tunnel is just a metaphor to describe the hardships you have to go through to reach a brighter day. Who said that the exit to that tunnel is the end and not the beginning of something greater than you know? Well that is why being oblivious will help you because the rawness of the default emotions are predominantly positive, try it for yourself, empty your mind and just do whatever needs to be done, does it feel bad in any way? Well if it does, then you might be trying too hard to impress the people around you and you've forgotten that enjoyment lies wherever you can be you.
