An easy way for one player to gain loads of bricks in one go is to create what is known as a farm. This involves taking a group of high value blocks down to one dig tool hit, in an efficient manner. A granite block, for example, gives nearly 100 bricks, but takes 14 dig tool hits each to break. By using a farm, you can get over 2000 bricks from just 53 dig tool hits.

The most efficient way to make a farm is to find a 3x3x3 cube of the material you want to farm, and then dig to the centre block. From there, you use splash damage weapons to damage all the blocks simultaneously. until it is one or two hits from breaking with a dig tool.

No perks are being considered in this guide, but it is worth mentioning that some perks will change the value gained from a farm, and some perks will change the amount of hits and ammo needed to create a farm.

The following blocks are what is usually used in farms:

Concrete
-Takes 3 dig tool hits to destroy
-Gives 19 bricks each
-Gives 513 bricks from a full 3x3x3 farm

Stone
-Takes 4 dig tool hits to destroy
-Gives 25 bricks each
-Gives 675 bricks from a full 3x3x3 farm

Granite
-Takes 14 dig tool hits to destroy
-Gives 88 bricks each
-Gives 2376 from a full 3x3x3 farm
-Dynamite reduces granite from taking 14 dig tool hits to 4 dig tool hits

Cogwheel will be using his cannon to create any farms.

The LMB fire of his cannon does more direct damage to the block it is actually hitting, and as such, that block will be destroyed before the rest of the farm. If using the LMB, the block will need to be replaced with a building block once it has been destroyed to finish the farm.

The RMB fire of his cannon does splash damage in an + pattern. This means that only some of the farm will be reduced to one hit.

Sweet Science uses a fully charged Blitz Stance dash to create farm.

It is worth noting that Sweet Science does more damage to target block than to blocks hit by splash damage, but it is not important unless farming granite.

Vander uses his lightning grenades in order to make farms.

While I REALLY recommend against it, Vander can use his RMB grenades to make farms. This is, however, both inefficent (due to reload time) and has a strange splash damage pattern, so not all blocks will be necessarily 1 hit. Regardless, I'll put the instructions here as well.

Sarge can make farms with either his grenades or his rocket launcher. They seem to do block damage in the same fashion, pretty much (i.e. same amount of damage, same splash damage pattern).
