WARNING THIS GUIDE CONTAINS EDGY MEMES]
Heres the comparison between the original and the edited one (its low quality steam cant take 2mb higher)
Original
Edited
Things needed
1.Your sfm poster
2.Photoshop
3.Photolooks magic bullet a addon for photoshop (optional)
4.your time :)
Duplicating
Yes i skipped the "open photoshop and open image" part because you probably know it
Duplicate your poster into 2 your gonna need those if you did something and your regret it (yes i know ctrl + z exist but this is for huge mistakes liek my life )
it should look like this
Smoothing out edges and ugly models/textures
Use the smudge tool to make something more smoother dont make it too much, it will look bad
heres a comparison
Before
After
looks better eh?
Adding your custom stuffs yay!
Most fun part in this thing is adding your stuffs you can add effects and somethings its your choice here is the example
Take your time adding your things :)
i just placed some white lines, make the background brighter and make it more blur
MagicBullet Photolooks Filters (optional)
This is optional you can ignore it or do it to make your poster better
ALSO THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE CHEAP FILTERS
this one is very customisable
THIS IS A ADDON ITS NOT IN YOUR PHOTOSHOP
well sorry for the caps i have a feeling people will ignore that
you can download it its free
pick whats best for you
here its what it look like
(yeah i know the white things are gone because i put them in the other layers)
You're done!
You are done! Make sure to make a backup .psd file if your done theyre maybe errors in your poster so you can change it later. Now save it as a png and a jpg file (use jpg if you want to upload it in websites with size limits like 2 mb like this website
If you wanna tip :D

Paint.net or Krita is a great alternative (both have similar functions to Photoshop and both are free)

This guide is really vague and doesn't provide any links or tutorials on how to use anything. You literally just told people to select a tool and use it but not too much. You also said "here, use this addon to make your posters look better!" and thats it. No extra links, no extra information.

Just a pretty lazy guide to be honest.

I feel like there's better techniques that coulda been used, such as ather than using the smudge tool for smoothing I'd highly recommend using the liquify tool. I also think the example work could have been better such as higher fov and much better lighting [or at least rimlighting] which if done in sfm itself can be a nice base for adding rim lighting in photoshop itself. I guess I'm sorta getting offtopic from my point but i guess what I would have to say is more points/techniques could have been touched on as well as better examples. Otherwise nice job wishing to help those new to the photoshop scheme
