Members of the Dark Sister sect of the veil lack not only mercy but the gift of sight. Some speculate their eyes are removed at birth, some say they are blinded as punishment for infractions against the shadowy sisterhood. One thing is certain, their lack of vision makes them all the more terrifying. They smell the blood of their enemies as it soaks the ground below them, they hear the panting of their target as they flee before them, they feel the slowing pulse of their sacrifice as they draw their final breath and they taste the victory standing on the backs of their fallen foe. The last thing their victims see is their own reflection staring back at them from the visor of a Dark Sister.
