Click Roller Strip

Kuvaus
A button that rolls MULTIPLE dice types. Click it once, a die is spawned and, after a delay, is rolled. If you click it more than once during that delay, then more dice will be spawned and rolled all at once. It has many variables to modify how it works without any scripting knowledge. Each button can be modified to work with one of a variety of dice.

This is an alternative version to my old one which handled 1 kind of die at a time. It is over in this place instead of being here..

List of Modifications (no scripting required)
  • Die Type : Use a custom die for any or all of the buttons. Change if the dice get named. Or how many sides they have.
  • Auto-Cleanup : The dice that are rolled can be automatically cleaned up after X amount of time, or only when new rolls are made. Dice are always cleaned up when you load the map, if present.
  • Print Options : The roll results can be announced. There's just a whole ton of options of how they are displayed, what is displayed, the colors used, etc.
  • Location : Select distance from the tool, width of the spawning line, how high off the table dice spawn and the size of the dice.
  • Delay Before Roll : Delay between clicking and rolling.
  • Overload Limiter : Max number of dice that can be spawned.

This tool DOES support custom dice and the default dice types. This tool DOES NOT support custom models or asset bundles set to be dice. That is because they do not correclty show their number of sides, breaking the print function. It is possible to make a script that works with them, but it is a case-by-case setup required. You also can't spawn metalic dice from the spawnObject menu.

Credit to jpneok who posted these dice images for use. I wanted consistant art style in a set of dice and theirs was the only one I found. Also, if anybody wants to modify this tool for their own mods, I'm happy to share the PSD of the material file for you to make edits to. Just let me know.

[www.paypal.com] I know what you're thinking. "Why would I donate when he is just going to keep making stuff anyway." Well... yeah... but... like... just do it anyway, man. Gimme.

Is there any sort of way to make the save slots have rows? I'm asking for a forgetful party.

Hi Mr. Stump. Your Scripts are fantastic! I'd like to commission a custom die roller for a TTS game I am preparing. I've sent a friend request. If you are interested, please reach out. Thanks!

Hello there! I changed the dieColor from "default" to "tool", but the color of the die stays the same, it does not take the color of the tool.

dieColor = "tool"

great dice roller. This works perfectly for all my players. Putting a new name on one, putting false in a bunch of the options, and moving it to a hidden area allowed me to have a DM dice roller. It keeps everything hidden as far as dice rolls go and doesn't display anything in the chat. Only thing is that was pretty handy not having to do any of the math. Is there a way you can get it to display to a text box or something that could be placed in a hidden area? Maybe a custom dice tray or something?

Coolest looking tool i found so far. Extremely clean and tidy way to roll dice. How would you do percentile dice using this item?
