Lidar scanning and mapping

hey there I heard of a script that uses Laser Antennas to scan and detect grids kilometers away (on servers)not just the short range the camera scripts can do .. is that possible or do they just talk bullshit?

How do I use it? Is there any prefix buttons I should know about? Toolbar keys to add? Is there any good or bad sides to it? Does it do anything other than mapping for ores or soil? (Although, mapping that will help me in this new scenario I have made, I could use this script!)

Most scripts i made and shared no longer work. The game changed too much.

I am not sure what you mean Celestite. These scripts are more like a proof of concept, meant to serve as inspiration for other scripters. If you have no programming experience, I don't think I can help you make it work.

Hey Innoble. Just wanted to say thanks a heap for publishing this! I decided a little while ago to write my own lidar script witha few funtionalities intended. It has been a long time since I studied either programming or vector mathematics and I have been having a lot of problems. I seem to innately comprehend the way you've done things (good documentation i recon ;) ) and using your script as a point of reference I am overcoming a lot of issues. So, thanks :)
