The updated version of the UCMMP
For some reason I had to upload it separetly

For the IDs just use mech then the part type then the name listed below (example: mechbodyouo)

If you want your mech idea added to this mod use the mech design disscusion.
If you found a bug use the bugs/incompatability discussion.
This is compatable with 1.3.2 or newer as far as I know.
(mod version 1.3.1) added four new parts: doom helm body, eggman body, empty boosters, and empty legs.
(mod version 1.3.2) fixed a typo.
(mod version 1.3.3) fixed another typo, added Egg Cannon weapon.

Also why is this mod suddenly getting so many comments? This is a fairly old mod, back from when I didn't even know much about modding. I didn't even know where to find the log file when I made this mod.

This is a good idea, at least in theory. You see, these already take a lot of work to add in. And to do this with every weapon in the game would take at least an hour of just copy pasting images then patching the arms file then making an item for each weapon. When I remake/update/revive this mod later on I'll have a few invisible ones of the more generic weapons, but not all weapons.

Yeah but you see the problem with that is that it would be too small. and by that I mean you couldn't have the body and the head due to the sprite size limitation. Unless I could create a custom .frames file for it but i'm not 100% sure that thats possible

It should be 100% compatible but if it crashes on launch just give me the text from your starbound.log file in the storage section of the game files and I could tell you why it crashes and possibly fix it. and as for the whole overmax thing, while possible I honestly have no Ideas where the files for this mod went. I'm thinking of reviving it with a version for XS Mech legs but as of right now I have about 4 really complicated and involved projects I'm working on. But when those are done this mod (might) get a revival.
