One-Color Civs

Omschrijving
NOTE: This is no longer under development.

Aims to clean the game interface a little bit by assigning one and only unique color to each civilization. Foreground on most icons is set to either black or white. If it's a color on foreground, then background is white. The effect is civs' colors are bolder, but less flashy. All Brave New Wolrd civs lincluded.

version 2 changelog:
- new colors assigned to Assyria, Brazil, Indonesia, Morocco, Poland, Portugal, Venice & Zulu.
- reassigned colors for Sweden & Huns, taking advantage of the expanded spectrum to better suit them.
- Shoshone takes the previously Hun light-green.
- Minor adjustment on the Iroquois' sand

If I use custom civs, is it compatible?

Just checking in to say I really love this mod.

Probably not, @CyberClown. It's been 5 years since I updated it, and I'm not planning to.

Does this work when you have duplicate leaders?

I went to war, as england, with morocco, and found it impossible to distinguish moroccan troops from english ones (practically the same color in-game). Nice thought, but doesn't relaly work for me.

Cape, that's probably due to the way that mod handles those units icons. See, on the one-color civs mod there are no unit icons, only those used for civs. They are drawn from a special image file, while the game handles the color swaps elsewhere. The other mod you are using is probably messing with the file names and referencing my icons instead. There's nothing I can do about it, sorry. Maybe you could contact that mod's developers.

I encountered a strange bug in combination with the 3rd UC mod. The unit icons for two units Teutonic Knight (germany) and the Chasqui unit (inca) are replaced with two of your icons (celtish and and the one with a black ttwo headed eagle on black). Do you have any ideas how I could fix that?

Can you include a manual download so that I can edit the colors myself. I only want certain empires to use the one-color palette, and I can easily do that if I can look at this mod's XML color files
