I can not believe that the player didn't use what I like to call "Hop and scotch", a Maneuver I use alot when confronted with high numbers of enemy. The maneuver is basically where you put a few of your soldiers on look-out, and have the others run slightly ahead.. therefore, if the enemy sees you and attempts to move in, your soldiers on look-out will automatically shoot.. hopefully taking down a few enemies before really engaging in battle.
