I was always annoyed about how little traps played in exploring. They did soo little damage that you never had to worry about them at any sort of threat level. This mod makes every trap instant kill. The screenshot is from the Bleak Falls Barrow i.e. the first trap you run into - and its deadly.

I felt soo much anxiety just trying to find my first trap for the screenshot as i knew if i didnt see one it would be death - i love this type of feeling in games i.e. i like hardmode. If you dont like being killed for not seeing traps, then this mod is NOT for you.

EDIT: I have made a mod that gives all followers the LightFoot perk so they will not set off any traps. That should make this mod more useful.

* I edited all the damage variables in the trap scripts to be a really high number
* I edited all the Trap Spells to do a really high amount of damage
* I edited any weapon associated with traps and made their damage really high

I'm making a bunch of small mods to improve the various aspects of the game that i've felt needed changing. My mods are small but it just means you can turn on and off what you do and dont want. So if liked this mod, there may be another mod i have done that you would enjoy on my workshop page:

my character is around level 60 and gets killed in one hit by every trap

Making the battering ram trap do a sort of mini Unlrelenting Force knockback would be nice, get hit and it does something similar to having a draugr get smacked off a bridge with the spike wall trap.

I'd like to have more powerful traps, but making all of them insta kill seems foolish to me... That's the reason I won't sub...

If all the traps are instakill how are you supposed to survive then, even in resident evil you could survive a trap but i want to download the res evil house but if the traps are instakill what is the point Don't get me wrong a good idea but within reason you should be able to survive some traps surely appart from those that would kill you instantly is understandable.

I would like to see an update to adjust the danger settings of the traps, so that one could increase the difficulty/damage of traps, without necessarily making them one-hit kills. For now I'll favor as I do like the idea of trap difficulty being increased to some meaning.
