Uprising

Opis
Uprising allows some units to spawn when the independence of your country is threatened. So far the following units might appear (depending on your technological advance):
-Musketman
-Rifleman
-Infantry

Uprising may happen only when you lose the city. Probability depends on "threat factor" which increases much when you lose the city and decreases slowly each turn until it reaches base value (10%).

This mechanism is already implemented in Polish Empire Mod, available also on steam workshop:

In the civilopedia for warriors it says they form up when their civ needs them, then disperse when the threat is dealt with. Warriors for uprising could be a really good idea

Is it compatible with Vanilla?

if you get -30 unhappiness in hte game without mods there would be a revoultion. three or more units spawn near you capital and are as advanced as you most advanced foot soidier(e.i swordman, musketman, rifleman, etc) this happended to me on numerous occasions when i completety ignored happiness while taking a lot of cities but it is very rare to get you happiness below -20

what happens to cities if they fall to the uprising
Tweaky 19 października 2012 o 8:37
Oh okay then. Also, I'll check compatibility if I'll can

I don't know if it is compatible with other mods, please check it and report if you can. Answering your question - no, definitely no. This is the idea - in case of big problem you get the units that can help you to survive. People accepts you as a leader and they want you stay there - that is why you can control the insurgents. It is not the revolution - it is uprising!

Also, dont you think that those units that spawns should be barbarian to depict that the defeated player can not control them, and not to overload that unit's money pool?

First of all I think regular infantry units are fine. Second of all pla let me know if your mod is compatible with "Revolutions" mod and that one with the culture expantion of the borders? It may appear that they are compatible not.
