When I bought Elden Ring, I had both heard and seen amazing things about it and was very excited to play it; however, every time I booted up the game anti-cheat loads and Elden Ring sits on a white screen till it crashes. I checked my computer specs and they were more than enough to play this game. I had tried literally everything I could find on the internet to fix this issue, from Youtube videos, to Steam discussions, to Reddit posts, and it seems many people have had this same issue anytime between now and almost 2 years ago. I finally fixed the issue, but it took me 3 hours of trouble shooting because I didn't know what was causing the issue. This game is awesome, but the fact that I and many others have to try so many different things just to play this $60 game of the year is very upsetting.
