The combat in DWS is genuinely fun and engaging. The timing of the dashes and parries feels satisfying once you get into the rhythm. However, the lack of enemy variety in the middle of the game does slow things down a bit, making some encounters feel more like filler. But once you hit the late game, the difficulty spike kicks in, and the payoff is well worth it.

The ability to replay bosses with increasing difficulty was a great touch. The extra challenge and unique rewards like golden keys and epic trinkets gave me a reason to revisit some fights, even if I skipped the ones I didn’t enjoy.
