Hunt: Showdown is one of the best games for someone looking for a game they can both really get good at, and play somewhat casually. whilst i've heard it most compared with EFT, I'd say it compares better with Apex: Legends or another sort of arcady BR-esc thing. yes, it has permadeath, but getting equipment back is trivial after a certain point.

Only thing is this game is infinitely better with friends. LFGs exist, but a good couple of friends will improve the experience tenfold.
