Nostalgia at its finest. I remember almost completing this game 100%.

The bad reviews gave me multiple diseases.

A classic to be sure.

I played this game when I was little and it still knocks TSS out of the water.

What killed any enjoyment of this game for me was the slippery controls and sometimes unfair/unreasonable hits and death zones. (Specifically in Crazy Gadget.) And getting an A-Rank is hard. The Knuckles/Rouge stages didn't help either.

I wouldn't say this game sucks, it's just not for me.

AWESOME GAME!
I'm just gonna get to the point: Star Wars Battlefront II is an excellent game and holds up today.

It's even better with mods, so if you can, mod the heck outta it.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Dragon Ball Xenoverse, so this review may come across as hypocritical. But this game can really blow.
For the positives, there isn't really much I can say without going on a three-week tangent. this game is about as Dragon Ball as Dragon Ball can get. And it takes the concept of time travel and twists it in a way that sees you going back to stop other things from happening. Vegeta and Nappa both becoming Great Apes? Bad! Captain Ginyu stealing Vegeta's body, then Goku's? Worse! Cell using the Father-Son Kamehameha with his Cell Jr. to obliterate Gohan? Oh-no, we're doomed!
But sadly, this game has a lot of negatives. The slow pacing is just a nitpick and my personal pet peeve, but again, it's just a nitpick. The worse parts are the RNG being god-awful. You can't get an Ultimate Finish in Parallel Quests 100% of the time, even if you fulfill the conditions to trigger the Ultimate Finish, the game doesn't tell you how much points you've earned in a quest until the results screen. Sometimes, it's hard to get a Z rank (Maybe because I suck at that), but the CPU is the worst of it. Xenoverse 1's CPU is just agonizing! They team on you 24/7 interrupting your combos, they mess with you with these stupid mind games, and sometimes (PQ: Super Super Ultimate Series of Battles being an example) they synchronize their Ultimate Attacks to make your health drop like a brick.
Also I had this moment.
I was playing the DLC PQ's today, but it froze on me TWICE! Both times, it booted me offline and I had to go all the way back to the menu to reconnect. The second time, I WAS STUCK IN ONE PLACE! Not frozen, but I couldn't move.

Overall, this game is average, not the best, but not the worst. Only buy this game if you're a masochist or if you're curious.

EDIT: Or just get the game when it's on sale like I did. :P

If you've played the Henry Stickmin games in the past on websites like Stickpage or Newgrounds, then you'll LOVE this game. It's all five games from the old days now remastered and revamped from the ground up with new music, smoother animation, shading, and more. Heck, even Breaking the Bank was completely reworked. Now Henry has HANDS!
Plus, the new game in the series, Completing the Mission, is also pretty fresh, letting you choose which endings you can combine from ItA and FtC. My first combination was GSPI + IRO = SBO. I remember the Cupcake being my very first choice because it was stupid and resulted in a fail. I'm a sucker for the stupid choices: Cheese, Distraction, Belt of Grenades, etc.
The only bad things I can say about it is that I've experienced a few crashes down the Revenged and Jewel Baron routes because of full screen.

Overall, five star game, totally reccomend.

And go check out the upcoming fangame, Attacking the Tower.
