Youlogic is a physics-based puzzle game where the objective is simple: guide a ball to a marked goal using various tools and mechanics. On paper, it sounds like a neat and straightforward concept, one that has the potential to offer satisfying, brain-teasing challenges. In practice, though, it feels like a clever idea that didn’t quite reach its full potential.

Pros:
- smooth physics - the ball’s movement feels natural and satisfying, making it enjoyable to experiment with the puzzles

- cannon design - I really like how the cannon shows how strained it is - it’s a nice little detail that gives the game some personality

Cons:
- kind of rough graphics - the visual style doesn’t feel very cohesive, and it looks a bit cheap

- creepy character design - the facial expressions of the female character felt unsettling

- off-putting lady - at one point, she literally told me to close the game if I wasn’t motivated enough, and then the game made me return to the main menu?!

- chaotic storytelling - the exposition is random and messy, with scenes that feel disconnected from one another

- crashes unexpectedly - I encountered a crash while playing on Windows 10, which made the experience frustrating

- poor English localisation - the text has some grammar mistakes, which makes it harder to enjoy the game

Youlogic has a solid core with smooth physics and clever puzzles, but it gets bogged down by unnecessary narrative elements and some odd choices. Honestly, if it focused more on the puzzles and less on the bizarre narrative, it could’ve been a lot better. As it stands, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re looking for a laugh from how weird it gets.
