Let me start by saying that this game isn't awful.
However, I do want to make it clear that this game has a long way away from being something good.

There are multiple problems from every avenue of design.
The narrative was bland and difficult for me to follow anyways, and the dialogue felt really flat as well.

Level design in this game felt more like filling out empty space rather than making interesting composed shots with good encounters, a lot of the beautiful work that was done by the environment artists was hidden by this. Additionally, the concepts for the settings themselves either felt pretty boring for a sci fi game, or felt ripped from Destiny 2.

The UI was alright, but had a few pitfalls as well, having the player need to look places they wouldn't think of in order to get certain info they needed.

I'll give credit to the characters and the abilities, those were pretty interesting to play around with, but unfortunately the combat didn't feel too interesting either. Often enemies felt really easy to kill with minimal effort on my side to equip the best guns, and every enemy that was more difficult was really more of a sponge than an actually interesting enemy.

Overall, a disappointing game that makes me wish I was playing Destiny instead, wouldn't recommend unless Destiny REALLY isn't giving you enough to do.

At least for now. I fully believe that improvements can be made, but as of right now? Thumbs down

I'm going to review now that I've 100% this game. There are more things to do (technically) but I think this is the best spot to do so.

First off, if you are not a completionist, I would take into consideration the price of the game vs what you're going to get out of it. My estimation for people who just wanna go through and complete the game is around 6-8 hours. However, at the point of this review, I have played 24 hours in order to 100% percent complete the game (achievements wise).

As far as the actual game itself, it is truly difficult to describe how fresh, interesting, and fun this game is. To have a game with very little soundtrack still have me engaged to the level I was throughout the experience is astounding. Even things like the items themselves and their functions are just amazing, and add so much depth to the overall experience.

Again, I would suggest playing this game to get everything, but if you play it at all, you will have supported the singular developer who worked on this (yes, SINGULAR) and hopefully show consumers and the industry as a whole that games like this are what people need. Please check it out, cheers

It's alright I guess

As a design student and a gamer for over 15 years, this game made my physically ill. I had to lay down after playing this game because of motion sickness. I have never had such a terrible experience playing a game. The UI is nauseating, with way too much happening on screen at once, but even without that, this is just an overall very uninteresting game. The other players are too easy to kill (and almost feel like bots), weapons don't feel good to use, the speed of your characters feels very slow, animations feel too long and break my engagement, and the level design feels more like random hills and temples that have no meaning to why they exist.
Overall a disappointingly uninteresting game that looked like it took good inspirations from other popular games of the same genre.
