this came out during the golden years of video games (2007-2016) This inspired and created many genres and games of the horror genre. Its a bit dated, but its nearly 16 years old now. It should be viewed in the same respect as the original resident evil games were.10/10 game that pushed the boundaries of gaming as a whole.
