Finland is known for its pure nature and distinct seasons. Each season has its own unique atmosphere and influence on Finnish life.

Spring usually begins in March–April, when the snow melts and the days get longer. Nature comes to life after a long winter, and the first widow's leaves and blue anemones emerge from the ground. People start spending more time outdoors, and spring brings with it a sense of new beginnings.

Summer is the favorite season for many Finns. From June to August, temperatures rise, and the days can be very long – in Lapland, the sun doesn't even set during Midsummer. In summer, Finns spend time in cottages, taking saunas and enjoying nature. Picking berries and mushrooms is a part of many people's summer.
