Although there's a number of issues holding the game back (bugs, lack of depth in missions, lack of overall polish), the game is an amazing and immersive experience of America in the late 1960's. The cars, the music, the collectables (album covers, pin up girls, etc.) make it a well rounded experience of one of the most socially tumultuous and personified periods in US history. If you're fascinated by this era in history this is definitely the game for you. While there's some issues with the game, it's still a work of art in terms of recreating a New Orleans-esque city in 1968.

A great game if you're interested in public works and services, logistics, civic management etc. It isn't your typical builder, it's more like a bureaucracy simulator.

Bought this game after watching the Shogun series on Disney+ and became obsessed with feudal Japan. Also my first Total War game that I played. Although it has been around for awhile I was delighted with this game and will be exploring other titles in the Total War franchise.

It says I have 31 hours played but that was just from trying to install the game through Microsoft's installer, which took nearly 30 hours before the install looped back to 0%. Pretty frustrating.

Put a good $200 into VC for myCareer and then one day the game just started to randomly crash near the end of my first season. I left the game alone for a good 8 months, hoping it was an issue that would be fixed after a few months, but no avail. Still randomly crashes while playing myCareer. I'm never going to purchase a 2K title ever again.

For the life of me I can never figure out free agency in this game, no matter how long I play it.

Great game, maybe even the most immersive military experience in gaming, but there's no real single player option.

I hope the devs rectify this. There's a lot of older gamers these days (millennials are getting old, especially those of us who remember the Iraq War) who absolutely refuse to game with the toxic, immature and over-competitive players that gravitate toward shooters and mil-sims, many of whom were still ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in their diapers when the fine men and women of the US Marine Corps graced the hellscape that was Fallujah. I simply won't have it anymore, my time to game is too limited and too many online gamers simply have too much time on their hands.
