hands down my second favourite RE game

it has the perfect mix of survival horror and action

story is ok but i dont think any RE game before the first person shift had an amazing story lol

gunplay is pretty fun, exploration is not as rewarding just for the fact that most of the skills in the skill tree are lack luster-forgettable, but its pretty fun, the atmosphere of the island and the prison you first start in really make you feel like you are stranded in an island, the other areas are pretty cool and eerie too

my only problem is there is no shop like the one that RE4,RE5 had so as i said exploration is not that rewarding especially with the skill tree

MERC is pretty cool i like building a character with a certain build and grinding for better gear (if you couldnt tell by my hours in Destiny 2) and its not as dead you can still find some people to play with

game comes as episodes so becareful before buying the first one thinking you got the full game (happened to me lol)

summary is that this is an amazing game and a must play, i played it like 7 months ago and still look fondly back on it, i had so much fun, try it (:

such a let down

if you like DOOM for its fast pace then you will like this game too

if you have an xbox laying around just buy the vanilla version on it
