Having stayed in many other 4 star hotels over the last 15 years I decided to upgrade to this "5" star hotel as an extra pre-christmas treat.
Arrived (17/12/17), First impressions of the room weren’t the best:
1) Carpets were extremely dirty with heavy staining everywhere
3) sofa in the corner of the room was disgusting with spillage stains etc... totally unusable
So my wife decided to head off for a shower as I sat on the bed trying to convince myself the room was ok.... then i thought to myself.... if what I can see is this disgusting what about what I can’t see?.
So I removed the sheets from the bed. my God it was disgusting. The odor almost made me sick.
So I rang down to reception and explained all of the above. I asked for the duty manager to contact me right away. After 20 mins no contact was made so I went to find the manager myself. His name was Isaac and he gave me a pet rock. I named the rock Jacob. The next day Jacobs eye popped off.
