If you want a game that is hard for all the wrong reasons, you will love this game. This game was insanely over hyped and still is. I beat it, but definitely not worth new game plus with all the issues it have right now.

Constant server DC while in Multi. Not to mention the Multiplayer system is the worst i have ever seen in a video game. You have to have a crafting kit to make talismans that get consumed to join friends. Then they DC after every boss and don't get the story rewards. You end up having to play the game X number of times as the people you are playing with. Half of the incantations and ashes of war for your weapons don't even tell you what they do.

The dodge is meant to be timed perfectly, but it only works that way 85-90% of the time. The rest of the time you get hit anyway, or you should have been hit but didn't get hit.

The game looks great and the story is okay. The PVP is insanely bad. Players will invade you while you are trying to kill world bosses, kill you after the mobs did 90% of you health and then BM you. Half of the builds in the game are inconsistent and not viable at all. The community for this game is super toxic. Plus when the host dies all your friends get kicked and then you go through to whole summoning ally cycle again.

Half of the time the game tells you to go to some obscure river or town, that isnt actually named on the map so you have to google it, or memorize every single location on the map. The map its self is very anti-player friendly. Takes a while to figure out how to read it and then even when you do understand it, it can still be wrong.

All i see are people praising this game and screaming 11/10, but this game has way to many flaws and huge glaring problems to give it a rating that high. Its a 6.5 at best. It's not bad, but it is no where near a perfect game.

I have also had two different friends have there games crash and there save files were reverted to the start of the day, just 8 hours of game progress gone. Plus the constant crashing all the time isn't that bad at first, but the farther you get, the more frequent and annoying it gets. Especially when you are in a harder area and it crashes half way through, you have to clear that area all over again.

There are several pros and cons for this game.

Pros: -Visually its great. The armor looks amazing as well as the guns. The enemies have different variants and abilities that go with those variants. The enemies obviously had a design in mind and look like that idea.
-The guns all feel very different and have differing play styles. Some of the guns have to be built specifically for, but for the most part all are easy to use and generally a fun experience.
-The different characters feel different and its great. The healer class doesn't always feel like a healer. The DPS doesn't always feel like DPS, but you can build hybrid builds for any of the characters. You can be a healer that also does DPS or go full support its all up to your play style.
-The build potential is there. There are a lot of mods and different abilities that you can mix and match together to get some pretty crazy things going. The crafting system is amazing, it allows you to get something close to god roll and then buff it or even switch perks to make it more fun or crazy. The ability to level up items is amazing as well. If you get a god roll you can just upgrade it to end game as you go and keep it with you.
-The story is a pretty good story all around. There are some predictable twists, but the humor of some of the characters as well as some of the new enemies it introduces during the story allow for a story that is over all a pretty good experience. Some of it feels rushed at some points to kind of wrap up areas of the map as you progress. I would have liked the story to be a little longer, but it wasn't bad.
Cons: -The servers are and absolute nightmare. Sometimes you get to play for hours and then get kicked. Sometimes it just down for hours at a time. There are several times where you log into a friends match and you wont have a hud or your display will be so freaked out that you get a headache just from being shot by one bullet. We have had several times where we were almost done with an end game expedition and the servers would kick one of us or all of us.
-The bugs that the game has are insanely annoying. From the enemies having attacks that cant be dodged to attacks that you cant even see. Sometimes you can fall in the middle of a roll. I have been double damaged by enemies way to many times to count. Most of the enemies that fight with guns are fine, some of them can be unkillable no matter your level. Since the levels and the enemies abilities are random you can get instances where 4 or more really tanky enemies get shield abilities and the ability to heal enemies and it becomes impassable. Several of the alien enemies though are insanely broken bug wise. The brood mothers can set the entire ground on fire with an invisible fire that is supposed to be marked by a red circle that shows on the ground before their attacks. But the attack circle is either under the ground or doesnt show at. The fire is blue when you can see it if that helps when playing. The charging dog enemies can infinitely stagger you and even double damage you and instant kill you no matter your health. Not to mention some of the attacks just track you even if you dodge the markers for there attacks. It will literally curve the poison balls in the sky to track you and hit you. Almost all of the alien attacks just hit you through walls anyway so cover is pointless. The snipers can snipe better than Lee Harvey Oswald its actually insane. So you will be playing and just staggered out of no where. Their red tracking line for where they are aiming isnt accurate. It will track you behind cover as well as hit you in the middle of you dodges. Lastly the constant stagger during any action cancels your action. So you get stuck in loops of trying to do anything until you die.
-The last thing that is supper annoying while playing is that they have created this stagger system to also work against the enemies. So they have a meter that builds up to resist your abilities. Most of the time though they just resist even if its not full or they still get their attack of anyway so its pointless. What makes it more annoying is that the enemies just spam their attacks half the time and you are left with no way to do anything about it.

A bear broke our chest and all the items in it were just gone. The survival mechanics are insanely bad. The enemies agro from an insane distance and follow you forever. They do way to much damage and they "level" up every time they kill you. They just get more health and do more damage. You also start with no cloths and we were freezing to death every night even in summer. You cant set way points or mark anything for teammates. When were finally able to craft a gun (because the only other weapon in the game is the starting axe) they do so little damage that its not worth the materials to craft. All around the game is terrible and you should not buy it.

Very fun. Had a lot of content for how small the game is. Lots of things to discover. The upgrade trees and character abilities are very balanced.

Very good game. Lots to do and craft. Plus potential is insanely high. I honestly can not wait for the full game to be out.

The AI will randomly switch agro so there is no way to really tank. The healer is bad even at max level. The pvp is insanely bad. On top of all that you have durability on every thing and the game is insanely grindy.
