so i bought MHS1 and 2 in the bundle pack, i was like, ill play mhs1 first because why not and experience the game FWIW, and the story;. but the story from 1 has no relevance to MHS2. and the graphics and gameplay are overall as a whole, a bit worse. Theirs also more mechanics in MHS2 such as no battle pouch ( mhs1 made you keep a pouch for use in combat, with limited healing items) and in mhs2 you can just use what you have. Theirs a weird feature aswell where you can now swap weapons mid combat, and each weapon type deals something different on the battlefield, kind of like grass vs water type stuff in pokemon, which im not really a fan of but like whatever, i cant remove it. Graphics are better, some return characters, but even in new, non monster hunter stories games, the same characters also reappear throughout them all. more content, more updates then mhs1. just get mhs2 and skip 1 tbh. no regrets either way, mhs1 is a decent game, and it is fun, but mhs2 is just ... unsurprisingly given its the followup game, better and more QOL features.

Pokemon but with cooler monsters because of the better "graphics". its a great game and ill add to the very minimal review total ( 725 before i add mine here ) and ill give it an upvote because of the little attention the game has received compared to MHS2. my only real complaint with it is no auto combat feature, and the very, very stupid combat system of memorizing your opponents attack style. theirs power mode, SPEED< and TECH options, and each type of monster has a "habit" or "pattern" of using 1 of those 3 and it in a way comes down to a memorization feature. its not really necessary, but doing the opposite, which is like a thunder type vs water, will essentially reduce your damage taken and basically critical hit the enemy if you memorize what they use or guess it properly, yet they do switch it up occasionally, so its never a 100% , its always like a gacha system. just why? besides that and a auto combat for more chill level or material grinding, its a really good game. other problem is that your actual character aka "rider" or pokemaster damage wise is pretty much useless. just a damage sponge on the battlefield that can use heal items and some support skills. your pet will be the main damage dealer, despite being able to get gear and upgrades on your pokemaster...combat wise is pretty much useless for dps. i LOVE dragons, and i have a full party of dragons in game now all tier 4 currently which is the max im at in the game so far, so also give it a massive W for being so centered around dragons.i give it a .. 7/10 with the gacha system and useless pokemaster, without that combat feature id give it a 8. maybe 8.5/10. definitely worth trying

its not a bad game at all, but its not overly good either. its just division 2 with a more aggressive MTX system for cosmetics and a really annoying "realism" addition where you have to keep yourself fed and hydrated, monitor your body temperature. refuel you car. like...why. would be so much better without that additional nonsense, but it is what it is. its free, its third person. so its worth playing, just dont get sucked into the MTX. I guess if you cant afford any division game then go play this instead. other then that idk what to say

this game is terrible idk how the heck this game has good reviews at all, im guessing just another meme - type game?
the camera shaking is abysmal, the game first race i pass the finish line, a huge, bright blue beam from the sky, and i just phase through it and i hit a truck head on, and it put me on the opposite side of the highway and i lost the race because i had to drive super far and do a u-turn to get back where i was originally. Thirdly, the graphics are freaking horrible, i can hardly see where im going at high speeds because of the camera shake and pixelation. like seriously, thank god you didnt release this trash. it looks like it wants to be a need for speed underground 2 type game, but does it absoltely disgusting i really feel bad i wasted however long it says this review is my playtime, a half hour of my life on this trash. id rather get d speared into multi while risking full blood torva and 5 T bows while listening to selena gomez then even have this downloaded onto my computer at any point in the future.

Its great, 4 games in 1. 13 hours into the first one, still not even halfway done. Paid 9$ on sale.
This game is what you get if you mix the cool "persona" part of the persona games, with tales of symphonia's combat system, mixed with the story of sword art online

TBH idk how this has so many positive reviews. Its really bad for the price point lol. Its a cool game, and i dont hate it as a whole, but jfc i cant recommend to anyone. The biggest problem factor is why does it have mobile mechanics. You can only unlock new quests by leveling companions, and each companion levels up through gifting. You can gift 3 items per 24 hour period, and it can take 9-12+ for one level, and a new quest is unlocked every 2-3~, resources, same thing. Pickup off floor or fish and RNG it, map refreshes floor after 24 hours. Speaking of those quests, kuromi makes you make potions eventually for buffs, quest has you make 4 potions, and you can only do one per 24 hours, making a simple quest that takes less then 15 minutes in total, take an astonishing four days. I think its because theirs so little to this game in reality they do that so people farm up their gameplay time and cant refund it. Now again, if youre okay with that bs, its fun, really it is. I like hello kitty but i cant support that ...absolute nonsense above. I dont really regret buying it, but id say its worth maybe $5 max. Definitely not $39.99

Amazing game as always from the tales series, this was the first one i played on gamecube, and while i do remember the final boss, and boss fight, i do not remember like any of the story, and i still find its amazing despite many saying its only good for people who have nostalgia value. Combat wise honestly its like all the other tales games, even the new ones. Still has the same features, ex: you can play FULL AUTO and just watch if you really wanted and sit back every fight. Yeah, about 40~ hours of story time, even at off sale price at 19.99 i would recommend but i think it gets to around 9.99 on sale. For a single player RPG fan honestly all the tales games ( except berseria ) are a must buy in my opinion at price vs content sake. Great story as well. Only reason i say avoid berseria is end game mission has a ridiculous puzzle to solve, but i guess if you dont care about replayability value ( which all tales games give permanent buffs based on your performance and grinding per playthrough for your next new games / story playthroughs to go fasrer / easier, ) then i would still recommend berseria for one playthrough.

To be honest, if you've played one neptunia game you've pretty much played them all. They all reuse most of the same story, the same characters are in every game even if you already killed them 30 times. I still say buy it because regardless of the 15%~ change in story per game its still fun and new. Even the outfits are the same haha. The gameplay itself does differ per game however. Although usually not for the best. I cant stand the moments where youre solo and weak as hell when you dont have your party members and just have to play it like a stealth game. Other then that no complaints, games are all pretty well done FWIW. I wouldnt even really say theirs QOL improvements from neptunia 2 into hyperdimension, although i do like the graphics / mobs more in that one. So yeah if you like one neptunia game you'll pretty much enjoy them all. Its one of the rare game series i complete the entire game usually.

Thats partly why i love the neptunia games bc i can just play them whenever and chill on steam deck. However,
AVOID megadiMENSION ON DECK IT WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT AND EVEN THEN ITS A MAYBE, A VERY LONG SERIES OF PATCHES AND THIRD PARTY FILES THAT YOU HAVE TO DUMP INTO THE GAME FOLDER, AND EVEN THEN ITS 50/50, hence why i havent beat that yet and have 15 hours at the time of writing.
