TAV is a great game! Most people in the public lobbies are chill, and there are a lot of players who take the tactical side of the game seriously. If you’re into slow-paced, tactical gameplay, this game definitely hits it greatly.

I haven’t played it since October 2023, but it was so good back then that I’m getting a new headset just to play it again! 😭🤑💲 The only reason I stopped was because my Quest 2 controllers had bad stick drift and tracking issues.

I’d give this game an 8.5/10. It’s not the most fun on your own, but it’s still solid whether you’re playing solo or with others.

oh and you get to kill andrew tate so that might add it back to a 10/10 W mission

Though Ready or Not is a good game, it appears to me and many other users that the developers (Void) haven't put any optimization into the game, causing it to run at low framerates, often in places where it shouldn't, or just generally running poorly regardless of the area, hardware specs, etc.

Ready or Not released in 2023, and at that time, framerates were somewhat stable, the game ran well on most hardware, and it was overall fun to play. But since then, as it's now 2024— a year after the 1.0 release— it seems that Void hasn't put much, if any, effort into optimizing the features or anything they add in new updates. Even many higher-end graphics cards struggle to maintain a stable framerate, often dipping to the low 40s.

I'd recommend this game highly if Void would just optimize it so users could actually enjoy their experience. But until then, I can't really recommend people waste their money on a game that runs so poorly.

During 2021-2023, I watched all the Developer Logs on the Red Barrels YouTube channel. Honestly, I was hyped for this game, but when it dropped for public beta in 2023, it was really bad. I was expecting something like the first two games—a campaign of horror and scares, something which this game is not.

Though I like the multiplayer aspect, I dislike the rest of the game. Outlast is a game that revolves around a camera, mostly for vision reasons, so I'm okay with the night vision goggles—I think that's cool. However, the way the game plays out, I think it should have been more like the second game. There’s no real story for any new players to understand. When I opened the game 20 minutes ago after not playing for a year, I was very confused and had no idea what to do. I mean, I just finished replaying both the first game and its DLC, and I'm halfway into the second game again for the fifth time, but even with all that knowledge, this game is confusing and downright unplayable in my eyes.

In my final conclusion, this game is doing everything right but in the most wrong ways. I don't recommend anyone buys this game. Instead, I suggest buying "Outlast," the DLC, and "Outlast 2" as not only are they the best Outlast games, they won't confuse you to the point where you need to look up multiple videos on how to play the game.

And for the developers who worked hard on the game, your work does not go unnoticed by me. I do understand that y'all worked hard on this game, and I respect that. But for future reference, please stick to what was working really well (the horror-based campaigns). Playing Outlast and Outlast 2 still manages to jump scare me every time I replay them. Clearly, with that note, it's working. But sadly, this game voids that and is unable to both scare me and be understood by me 😭.

the only thing i don't like about this game is the lack of Planes and Helicopters you have. theirs around 6-7 and if they added more i'd rate it a solid 4/5* because its fun if you like planes

(Add more planes please i beg i really wanna fly a 22-Raptor or a Bowing 747)
