As a big fan of the Life is Strange series, I was really excited to dive into this one, but unfortunately, the optimization is absolutely atrocious. It took me over an hour of tweaking the settings just to make the game somewhat functional, and even then, constant lag issues persisted. Worst of all, the load times are unbearable—waiting around 10 minutes to get into the game really dampens the experience.

While I understand my system is older, this game doesn’t seem like it should demand such high specs. Better optimization could have gone a long way here. Sadly, I can't finish the game for now, as upgrading my computer isn’t an immediate option.

However, there are a few drawbacks worth mentioning. Firstly, there is a significant amount of walking, which can become tedious over time, especially if you're trying to explore every nook and cranny of the town. Additionally, the game has some buggy elements that need addressing, which can occasionally disrupt the otherwise smooth gameplay. Lastly, the German to English translation is incomplete in places, which can lead to some confusion and detract from the overall experience.

Despite these issues, the game’s charm and engaging mechanics make it a delightful addition to the cozy game genre.

My favorite version of the Sims hands down! I love being able to view the entire neighborhood from one lot.

This game is very different from previous games in the series.

They've modernized the graphics, the gameplay, and the character design. I find some elements of it to be clunky, but I think it's a step in the right direction. Is it on the same level as the other games? No. Is it a complete disaster? Also no.

Not my favorite game they've ever made, but it's also not close to the bottom for me either.

Cute, quick, and simple game to play with a friend or partner. Good for one or two playthroughs.
