Also don't summon overleveled phantoms, get your friend to make a new character to co-op with you. The scaling doesn't work right and hes just going to be way stronger than the game wants him to be at this point in the game, no one wants that.

Just letting you know, flails cannot be parried. Also, you should unequip any weapon that you dont actively use, as keeping those weapons equipped in your equipment slots adds to your equip load, which is why you are fat rolling. You won't fat roll if your equip load is below 70% of your maximum.
