Great story, feels like you are a student at Hogwarts. This game is a ton of fun. Wish we could play with other people, as in an MMO but maybe that's coming.

Wait for upcoming patches that don't further break the game or cause crashes way more than before. Buy on sale even.
The game is good but developers are broken and out of touch.

Update June 2023 - Broken saves, broken ai, useless dev's, great modding community is only reason this game is still alive.
Just logged back in to a turn earlier than the one I saved and then logged out at. Can't kill a LL I was able to on previous turn so their broken mickey mouse save system just cost me gold & xp. Honestly just passing time until something better comes along because this is just garbage.

Bit of a learning curve but fun once you get the hang of it. Gives you basic instructions but not much afterwards. Struggled a bit, got slaughtered alot but am having fun now. Wanted to play mortal empires as it's free but ofcourse there are not free strings attached....as usual nowadays. So I'll continue with Vortex Campaigns but it's getting boring fast. Hate other people's objectives and just want to play my own campaign so I'll wait until it's on sale again.

Says it's in my Steam library but continually says I have to download the content to play lol. So broke.

If you love old school D&D your going to love Baldurs Gate 3! Can't wait for the fleshed out version with all the races and classes. Once we have variety on maps this is going to be a lot of fun.
