As I reflect on my time with Destiny, I have come to the realization that the game is no longer what it once was. Having grown up playing Destiny 1, I recall the excitement of acquiring my first exotic weapon, Bad Juju, and experiencing my first flawless run. Destiny 2 initially felt special, but the game has since changed significantly.

The ability to target specific exotics, weapons, and even legendary armor has diminished the uniqueness of each guardian. Additionally, the game now makes it exceedingly easy to spend countless hours—or money—in pursuit of a 'meta' gun. I could go on and on about the game's shortcomings, but you get the point.

Since its launch, I have invested 2,000 hours into Destiny 2. The fact that my account is not far behind someone with over 7,000 hours indicates to any rational observer that this game can be a black hole for one's time.

I hope that, for everyone's sake, TFS is jaw-dropping and fresh. If it is, then I might revisit this game. Otherwise, I implore any prospective buyers to invest their time, money, and energy into more fruitful endeavors.

If you are tired of nerd-necking in Destiny 2, look no further than The Forest. With a captivating and emotional story and deplorable antagonists, this game with definitely leave you shaking in your boots. I know I was! 8.5/10
