One of the greatest games ever made and by far my most played. For a game to have this much depth and replayability is a very rare occurrence and should not be understated. The rocket jump mechanic is easily my favorite movement tech to exist in any game and I will keep coming back for this alone.

It is beyond disappointing to see this masterpiece suffer at the hands of what amounts to a few very misguided and pathetic people. We know Valve is a multi-billion dollar company, so to put into terms that the greedy pigs who run this can understand:
- Valve has the resources to combat these known problems in one of their most popular games and chooses not to, all the while profiting off the game through its very successful trading scene and microtransactions.
- Valve stands to make an obscene amount of money in the long run at minimal investment by fixing this recurring issue, yet for some reason chooses not to do so.
- If Valve truly wants to maximize the profit made by this game, implementing a viable anti-cheat or solution to the botting problem would double or triple the lifespan of the game.
- You can't continue to monetize a game with a dwindling player base.

Fix the current (unplayable) state of casual. Make your dedicated community and shareholders happy. Maybe even make the cheaters happy when they are forced to move on with their lives and seek meaning outside ruining a decade+ old game.

Update: Valve did the bare minimum, hats off to the single developer who accomplished this,
