Was a big fan and player on 360,first time playing 5,really enjoying it,mp is great aswell,recommended.

Great,nice resource and barter mechanics,nice touches here and there,solid total war game.
UPDATE: The fun is to be had on the campaign map not the battles,probably the best campaign experience ive had in a TW game,the battles are still good but are a bit clunky and derpy in places. BEST UNITS:light swordsmen is the best early game unit,thessalian marines are the best infantry all round and best value,plus chariots,these are the 3 units that have so far performed the best in my achilles mythos campaign.

I used to play it on ps4,started fresh today on steam,got the expansion packs on sale,didnt finish them in time and now its vaulted,and their still selling them lol,rip off,stay away from this game.

Enjoying it so far,if your looking for a viking rpg this is it.

Awsome,great setting,doesnt deserve the bad press it gets,i still havnt played a tw game that i didnt enjoy.

Liked it at first but a lack of sp content and focusing on a very small mp community is stupid,dont buy the race packs,you can only play them in a boring bare bones conquest mode or mp.Wait until the map maker comes out and see if theres any good sp content,then maybe consider buying it. UPDATE: Lots of good sp campaigns made by users now and the devs say there is actual official campaigns coming plus an overhaul of the conquest mode so i have changed my recommendation to positive.

Beast men rework is very well done,most fun ive had in tww2 since the vamp coast,i recommend playing on harder difficultys though.

New players are put up against veteran players,its lambs to the slaughter,new players should be matched with similar players to begin with,i just cant get into it because of this.

First time playing and im hooked,great game and its not as complicated as it looks,i recommend you get this and all its dlc at the sale,money well spent,this game feels a bit like tetris strangely enough, when you link up chains of charges and flanks,excellent stuff.

Combat mission black sea was my introduction to this series and i am truly blown away,i like unique strategy games like Total war,steel division,wargame,close combat,armored brigade...first time playing cmsf2 and im not disappointed,as soon as you hear those meaty rounds being fired you are sucked in,unique,excellent strategy and tactics involved,great a.i,its a must have.
