As a longtime fan back from the days of Wiiware, this game has held up remarkably well.
Runner, I feel is the one game from the BIT.TRIP series I'm best at, and even then it poses a wealthy challenge. Though it gets tough at times, it's hard to stay mad when you've got an incredible and inspiring soundtrack filling your ears as you go along, and the more difficult a level is the more triumphant it feels completing it. If you are to play any of the games from the series, make sure Runner is one you experience!

I found this game many years ago perusing the xbox arcade, and the atmosphere and world of Axel and Pixel filled me with childlike wonder.
On a whim I remembered it again and went to see if I could find it here, and sure enough, I bagged it on sale.
Unfortunately, because of how advanced my system is for the game, I got stuck at a part that won't work properly and am unable to progress.
It's a shame because I really wanted to give it a fair chance, the character designs are charming and the music and art direction is very pleasant and relaxing. I always felt Axel and Pixel had the potential for an interesting point and click adventure series, alas, the studio behind this game are no longer around.
Farewell, Silver Wish games.

One of my favorite games of all time.
At least once a year I find myself wanting to play this game through again and I never get tired of it.
An exceptional and iconic experience, immersive and captivating, yet foreboding world, incredible soundtrack and impeccable sound design. Excellent follow up to its predecessor... Love it!

Thank you for this gift, I rushed to the store as soon as I heard Half Life would be free for a short time.
I never managed to complete this game when I first played it on ps2, it was a treat to play all the way through to the end.

i like shoot

I felt extremely lucky to have found this game and scored it on sale. I remember playing a trial for it back on the xbox arcade, and over a decade later this little gem holds up incredibly well.
The visuals and ambiance are a treat for the eyes and ears; each area of the world has a unique feel and blend very well together. Every part is a beautiful work of art, and I had to keep myself from screenshotting all the time. The bosses provided an interesting and clever challenge that didn't overstay their welcome. Though I found some parts to be difficult, such is expected from this genre. I found myself having fun backtracking and searching for secrets once I got more abilities. Though this game wasn't very long, it was very a enjoyable one and I would love more of it!
