In response to the article, players established a player organization called WTPU (War Thunder Players Union) on Reddit for the feedback economy.
Within two days, more than 10,000 players from different countries joined the organization . Subsequently, the organization called on War Thunder players to refuse to play War Thunder within two weeks starting on May 26, 2023, and refuse to purchase paid content from the game to force Gaijin to change the economic system and improve game benefits for free players.
