A Type VIIC U-boat would have had a crew of 45 men, half on duty and half off during war time conditions. However in this game its 5 people which seems impossible but it seems to work here. God Forbid you are the only one on the boat and have to take control of everything.

Also this shows the Kriegsmarine does not give two ♥♥♥♥♥ about training their crews. Poor men who have flooded the diesels not knowing to switch to the electrics when submerging.

Silent Hunter 3 is an accurate simulation if you want to be a U-Boat captain in The Kriegsmarine. Shame though the U-Boat force ended in 1945.
