The original video was posted in June 2023 by Jamaican TikToker Mr. Bomboclaut (@flyguyyagga). The sound was quickly used as a slideshow audio for photo slideshows on the app, gaining slowed and sped-up remixes, akin to Goofy Ahh sounds in general.
Many of the videos that used the sound were Zawg and Schlawg memes as well as Ref Catches Basketball memes.
